The isolation can be unbearable at times. These stone walls echo so much noise, and yet nothing ever responds. Nor do the people who sit before you. We are all muted prisoners trapped here. Big dreamers unaware of the cage we are walking into.

It’s taboo to show weakness. Not after everything we’ve all been through. You just bow your head and keep moving forward. It’s as the old adage goes: “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” The only question that remains is how big is that hell?
None of us have ever figured that out. We’re dead before that time comes. Yet we keep pushing forward. Without a word we pull each other forward. It’s what keeps us alive. At least until someone inevitably trips. Then we’re all doomed.
