What does it mean to die a heroic death? People throw that term around all of the time, but I don’t think they’ve ever considered the implications. What does that person have to be doing to die a heroic death? Heroics are always surrounded by great tragedy. Someone is going to die.

What is so heroic about that? Can you even call it heroic when so few people know what you’ve done? Not to mention the fact your heroic story ends once those people pass on. Only the greats will forever be remembered. Only the stories the scribes feel worth sharing will be remembered.
It’s on us to tell everyone else’s story. To keep the memory of our fallen comrades alive. Of course, that’s all but impossible for us. We never know how the stories of our fallen heroes end. The only thing we know is spies become useless if our enemies catch us.
